- Mountain weather changes quickly — pack warm layers, waterproof jacket, comfortable walking shoes and a small daypack.
- 4×4 trip to Gergeti Trinity Church and visit to Juta are subject to road and weather conditions.
- Modest clothing is recommended when visiting churches and monasteries (scarf for women, no short shorts).
